Advising

Sondheim Scholars have dedicated advisors (the program director and associate director) who are prepared to offer guidance and practical assistance on course selection, campus involvement, internships and other experiential learning opportunities, scholarships, post-graduation plans, connections to alumni in their fields of interest, and anything else that may help them thrive as a whole person. Program staff gladly help Sondheim Scholars as they compete for jobs, internships, and prestigious scholarships by offering to review application essays or conduct mock interviews.
The Sondheim Program’s designers and staff have long believed that they can serve students best when they know them well — and that quality relationships help individuals and communities thrive. Sondheim Scholars, therefore, are required to meet with the program director or associate director at least once per fall and spring semester.

To prepare for your appointments each semester, review the resources on the CAHSS advising website.
