Sondheim Alumna Zainab Alkebsi To Receive UMBC Rising Star
Sondheim Alumna Zainab Alkebsi '09 will receive the UMBC Rising Start Award at the 30th Annual UMBC Alumni Awards ceremony on October 4th. After graduating from UMBC with a degree in Political Science, Zainab earned a law degree from the Baltimore School of Law and became Deputy Director of the Governor's Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She is now Policy Counsel for the National Association for the Deaf. Congratulations, Zainab!
