Sophia Lopresti Awarded Fulbright Scholarship
Sondheim Scholar Sophia Lopresti '18 was just awarded a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Indonesia in 2018-2019. Sophia is majoring in Global Studies, with a certificate in Intercultural Communication. Sophia spent a semester abroad in Sweden, and during her time at UMBC, she has done volunteer work in Indonesia, Nicaragua and Panama.
