Reyana Kaji
Major: Biology/Pre-Medicine Track

Home town: Hagerstown, Maryland
Reyana has been deeply involved with the Biology and Chemistry Departments during her time at UMBC. She has served as an undergraduate research assistant and as a teaching assistant in multiple chemistry and biology courses. She also served as president of the Golden Key Honor Society. After graduation, Reyana plans to pursue graduate study in a healthcare-related field.

What are you most proud of from your time at UMBC?
My growth as a person from meeting other amazing and diverse people!
What is your most memorable public service experience as a Sondheim Scholar?
Volunteering at Saint Agnes Hospital and witnessing the social determinants of health.
What was your favorite Sondheim event?
The Sondheim Annual Day of Service
What is an important thing you learned about yourself at UMBC?
Everyone grows at their own pace and in their own time.
